With the rise in number of people living with dementia in our nation and the complexity of the disease the need for effective dementia care professionals is imperative. This program explores barriers and resolutions to effective dementia training, recommendations and best practices in training and examines innovative collaborative learning models in dementia education. This program explores effective dementia training for current and future healthcare workers to increase care partnering skills, job satisfaction and retention.
