Evolving World of Quality Measurement is proudly presented to you by National Association for Home Care & Hospice. Thank you. We hope that you enjoy your course.
CMS continues to modify how they measure and report on home health quality in star ratings, public reporting, value-based purchasing, and other initiatives. In this session we will break down the different initiatives, what measures CMS is changing and why, when those changes will impact your organization's picture of performance, and how you should prepare. We'll also examine industry metrics, consider how stakeholders other than CMS evaluate home health quality, and provide "healthy reporting habits" that will allow you to have a meaningful impact on performance with simple, but powerful, analytics best practices as part of a comprehensive QAPI program.
Learning Outcomes:
- Describe recent and upcoming changes in CMS quality reporting metrics and programs,
- Discuss how the industry is performing within these measures and the pros and cons of different metrics.
- Design a set of reporting activities to positively impact organizational performance.
