Home care professionals have the opportunity to save lives by identifying the symptoms of sepsis early on. Attendees will learn more about this deadly condition and its relevance to home health reform, including what strategies post-acute providers are undertaking to reduce rehospitalizations and mortality rates. The speakers will discuss how to recognize the risks of sepsis and apply treatment in the home care setting. They will also share new information gathered from the Illinois State Sepsis Screening Project.
