QUALITY has always been key to success as it means that there is a formal organization wide quality program ensuring staff are competent, patients are well cared for & the agency is in compliance with regulations. Yet, many HHA’s have QAPI on the back burner thinking that it is busy work and do not have qualified staff to perform the necessary steps. Now agencies are being cited, standard & Condition level deficiencies! We will show that by complying with the CoP QAPI, your agency will also improve quality, processes, and outcomes. By identifying high risk/high volume/problem prone areas, and data driven outcomes, your agency can focus on areas in which to improve; develop and implement quality indicators and performance improvement projects.
