Understanding the impact of Diagnosis Coding is crucial to your agency's success under PDGM. In this session, we will explore the Clinical Groupings – what is allowed as a Primary Diagnosis, how comorbidities will take on more importance and other variations of the PDGM coding. We will discuss the OASIS ADL assessment items, and how case management is key. We will review what agencies will have to have for patient referrals, how they can educate their referral sources, physicians and the clinicians in the Home Health agency.
