Using Telehealth to Strengthen Hospital and Insurance Relationships: The Role of Outcomes-based Initiatives

Using Telehealth to Strengthen Hospital and Insurance Relationships: The Role of Outcomes-based Initiatives is proudly presented to you by National Association for Home Care & Hospice. Thank you. We hope that you enjoy your course.

Follow Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice on the various paths it has taken to use telehealth in meeting the needs of hospitals, insurance companies, and patients not eligible for traditional home care. This program will demonstrate how different initiatives can impact outcomes and financial indicators. It will trace Androscoggin’s program from conception to the present, discuss the methods it used to ensure use of telehealth, and how it allied with an insurance company to provide atypical telehealth monitoring to their clients. The result was fewer rehospitalizations, as attendees will see. Insurance company statistics on emergent care revealed improved financial indicators along with better outcomes.
