With the 21st Century Cures Act in 2016, electronic visit verification (EVV) became a federal requirement for Medicaid home health and personal care services. While complying, states and vendors can build an EVV 2020 system of the future to ensure smooth implementation and help states, MCOs and providers promote high-quality care and efficiency.
