The Science and Practice of LSVT BIG and LSVT LOUD Within the Home Health Setting is proudly presented to you by National Association for Home Care & Hospice. Thank you. We hope that you enjoy your course.
LSVT BIG and LSVT LOUD are effective sensory-based protocols that foster functional improvements in patients with Parkinson's disease, regardless of level of impairment. Patients who are home bound and meet conditions of participation for skilled home health benefit most from application of these protocols. This presentation will explain the scientific basis of the protocols and their clinical effect. It will also go over the elements of success in implementing LSVT BIG and LSVT LOUD programs, as well as how to measure their results. In addition, there will be a review of different documentation strategies and metrics to capture an agency’s outcomes in preparation for value-based purchasing.
