Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) programs are a mandate in the new Home Health Conditions of Participation (HHCoPs). In this introductory-level session, we'll be explaining the concept of quality reporting and its evolution.
Learning Outcomes:
Starting with reviewing the importance of clinician involvement in QAPI programs, this session will dive into how to develop a QAPI program for home care or hospice per the new Conditions of Participation (CoPs). Learners will also hone knowledge on the use of metrics to improve outcomes and therefore "compare" scores, star ratings, and patient satisfaction.
