This session will discuss creating and implementing a plan for staff care and safety for an organization’s greatest asset, its mobile workforce. As we continue to focus on elevating the standard of patient care, the care of the staff is often overlooked. Without a plan clearly focusing on the care of the staff, recruiting and retention problems are certain.
Learning Outcomes:
• The audience will gain insight on, and then examine and evaluate staff safety issues requiring attention and action by employers, such as non-physical abuse.
• Attendees will formulate methods and tools to use when addressing these issues.
