Medicaid: Lessons Learned in Medicaid Managed Long Term Services and Supports is proudly presented to you by National Association for Home Care & Hospice. Thank you. We hope that you enjoy your course.
Medicaid home care is transitioning to managed care known as Medicaid Managed Long-Term Services and Supports (MLTSS). Concurrently, there is a nationwide rebalancing of Medicaid spending as more states shift their focus to home and community-based care and away from institutional care in nursing homes. Over $75 billion is spent annually on the various types of Medicaid home care. This program explores lessons learned in the first years of MLTSS about payment rate changes, use of services controls, audit practices, and network participation standards.
