Description
Clinician shortages have dramatically impacted visit utilization trends since the implementation of PDGM. The advent of Value Based Purchasing in 2023 places an additional emphasis on positive outcomes and other patient care measures which makes providing appropriate, quality care much more important. This session will dive into patient care management trends, including visit utilization, length of stay, and other PDGM metrics and what impact those metrics have on outcomes and star ratings. The session will also explore the use of technology and its role in assisting with patient care management, from virtual care to telehealth to predictive analytics tools used to assist in plan of care creation and management.
