Post-acute bundling projects are increasing in many of the markets served by home care and hospice agencies. These types of payment methods affect the amount of reimbursement, costs of caring for patients, and clinical pathways, along with the market and strategic position of agencies. Given the impact of post-acute bundling, agencies need to develop ways to succeed within these payment arrangements. Post-acute bundling is only likely to keep growing as the healthcare market changes.
