Despite all of the regulatory and reimbursement changes, home health and hospice continues to attract financial buyers and private equity firms. These investors see great opportunities to build larger networks among local companies. Similarly, hospitals are looking to either purchase or partner with home health and hospice agencies to build or extend their continuum of care into the post-acute segment. This program will discuss the current and future mergers and acquisitions environment, as well as address strategies on how to develop a solid acquisition strategy or prepare your own agency for a potential merger or acquisition.
